ATTORNEY PROFILE

Born in San Jose, California, Kevin D. Wayman received his Bachelor of Science - Political Science undergraduate degree in 1985, the University of Missouri - St. Louis and his Law Degree, 1988, from St. Louis University. After graduating from law school, Kevin received the position of Law Clerk to United States District Court Judges Meredith, Harper and Fillippine, responsible for researching and drafting memorandum, orders and judgments for the respective US District Judges. After leaving the US District Courts, Kevin was an associate attorney for the law firm of Amelung, Wulff and Willenbrock, handling insurance defense matter in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. Kevin handled several cases to verdict during his two year association with Amelung, Wulff and Willenbrock. After leaving the insurance defense practice, Kevin started his association with Swaney, Ram, Wayman and Healey, becoming a partner in 1997. Kevin was a partner with Swaney, Ram, Wayman and Healey until 2008, when he chose to establish his own practice concentrating in Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, Social Security and Traffic matters. Since April of 2008, Kevin’s law firm has achieved several favorable results in civil jury trials, Social Security Claims and Workers’ Compensation hearings.

Kevin’s current practice includes a concentration in matters involving Personal Injury, Worker’s Compensation, Social Security, Traffic tickets and other general matters. He has successfully litigated cases involving all aspects of Workers’ Compensation, including wrongful death, permanent total disability, and disputed repetitive trauma claims; Personal Injury claims, including automobile collisions, premises liability and wrongful death cases; Social Security claims; and, Traffic tickets. Additionally, Kevin has handled and litigated personal injury matters involving automobile collisions, premises liability and wrongful death cases.

Kevin is licensed to practice law in all Missouri Courts and is admitted to practice in the Federal District Courts and the US Court of Appeals in Missouri. Kevin is a member of the Missouri Bar and has been active in the Missouri Bar Pro-Bono program as well as the US District Courts Historical Committee.

Kevin has resided in the St. Louis area for over thirty years with his wife and four sons.

Patti’s Bio:

Patti Dundon is Kevin Wayman’s legal assistant. She worked as Mr. Wayman’s assistant from 1998 to 2008. When Kevin commenced his new firm, Patti spent 1 ½ years as Mr. John Simon’s assistant at The Simon Law Firm. Here she worked in assisting John with complex product liability, personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. While she enjoyed her experience with Mr. Simon and gained valuable litigation experience, she has rejoined Mr. Wayman’s firm in 2009 to assist him in his endeavors as a sole practitioner.

Patti graduated from Lindbergh High School as Salutatorian in 1984. She then attended St. Louis University and received an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, with a French minor in May, 1988, magna cum laude. She passed the C.P.A. exam in May, 1988 and went to work as an auditor at Arthur Anderson from 1988 to 1990, becoming a full C.P.A. in 1990.

In 1990, she started her own firm, Rehabilitation Consultants, Inc. a physical therapy contract company. In its nearly 10 years of existence, Patti created a strong contract company with 23 part-time physical, occupational and speech therapists. Her company served over 20 physical therapy agencies and hospitals including such companies as Delmar Gardens Home Care and BJC Home Health Care Services.

In 1998, Patti decided to end the physical therapy contract business and commenced work as a legal assistant with Kevin.

During her work career, Patti has been raising 4 children who range in age from 20 down to age 5.

Patti is a dedicated professional who is committed to Kevin’s practice and who has the knowledge, ability and work ethic to assist Kevin in representing his clients reach successful outcomes to their cases.
